Cookies and device storage

Last updated 30 September 2026

This page lists everything nineloops keeps in your browser, on nineloops.ae and in the nineloops app, what each item is for, and how to switch off the one you can do without. nineloops sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

On the website

Our own website assistant runs on nineloops.ae. It counts visits, so we know which pages people read, and it answers questions in a chat window if you open one. It keeps these items in your browser’s storage:

  • nlw_wk_nineloops_v (local storage, until you clear it): a random visitor number. With it we count a return visit once and keep your chat if you come back. Each page view sends the page address and title, the site that sent you, campaign tags in the link, your browser, time zone and language, and the country your connection comes from. Your IP address is not stored: a one-way daily fingerprint of it is used to stop abuse.
  • nlw_wk_nineloops_s (local storage, one visit): which visit this is, so the pages of one visit count as one.
  • nlw_wk_nineloops_hi (session storage, until you close the tab): that the assistant has already said hello, so it does not say it twice.
  • nlw_off (local storage, until you clear it): that you switched the assistant off in this browser.
  • nl.attribution.v1 (session storage, until you close the tab): the page and campaign that brought you, so a form you send later in the same visit says where you came from.
  • nl.currency (local storage, until you clear it): the currency you picked for prices.
  • nl.asset-reload (session storage, until you close the tab): stops a page reloading more than once when we publish an update while you are reading it.

Switching the visit count off

Open nineloops.ae/?nlw=off once. From then on, in that browser, the website assistant stops as soon as it starts: it counts nothing and keeps nothing new. nineloops.ae/?nlw=on turns it back on. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes every item on this page.

In the app

  • nineloops-session (local storage): keeps you signed in. The app cannot work without it. Signing out removes it.
  • Preferences and local copies (local storage and IndexedDB): your layout and display choices, unsent drafts, and a copy of workspace data you have opened, so the app starts quickly and keeps working on a poor connection. They stay on that device and are never read by anyone else.
  • Payments: when you open checkout or add a card, Stripe’s payment script loads and Stripe sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to prevent fraud. Nothing from Stripe loads before that.
  • Connecting WhatsApp Business: when you start that connection, Meta’s sign-up script loads and Meta may set its own cookies for that sign-up. Nothing from Meta loads before that.
