Data Deletion
You can have your nineloops account and the data in it deleted at any time. This page explains how to ask for that, what you can remove yourself today, and how to remove data connected through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Delete your account yourself
The owner of an organisation can delete it from inside the app: open Settings → Data and audit and use Delete this account. You will be asked to type the organisation's name, because this is the one action in nineloops that cannot be undone.
Nothing is deleted on the day you ask. The account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days and you can cancel at any point in that window from the same screen. When the window closes, a scheduled job runs within the hour: it cancels any subscription, removes the organisation, its workspace, everything in every module and the files you uploaded, closes the accounts of members whose only organisation this was, and emails you that it is done. Export your data first if you want a copy: it is on the same page.
Leaving a workspace
If you only want your own access to end, you can remove yourself from a workspace at any time. To be clear about what that does and does not do: leaving removes you, and the workspace and its content stay with the people still in it.
Ask us to delete your data
If you would rather we handle it, email hello@publshr.ae from the address on your account with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us the workspace or account to delete. We confirm the request, complete deletion within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
Data connected through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
If you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp Business number to nineloops, you can disconnect it and have the data we received from Meta deleted:
- For a Facebook Page or Instagram account, open Social in nineloops, then Channels, choose the account and use Disconnect it. Nothing new is posted to it or read from it after that. The posts and conversations already in your workspace stay there until you ask us to delete them, as below, or delete the whole account.
- A WhatsApp Business number is removed in Meta's WhatsApp Manager. After that nothing new reaches nineloops through it. The conversations already in your workspace stay there until you ask us to delete them, as below, or delete the whole account.
- You can also remove nineloops from Facebook Settings, Business Integrations.
- To request deletion of this data by email, write to hello@publshr.ae with the subject Meta data deletion request and the connected account name. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
Deletion removes your content (projects, documents, messages, records and files), connected channel data, and account and profile details from our active systems. Copies in routine encrypted backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 30 days. We may retain a minimal record only where the law requires it, such as for tax or accounting.
