Approving what Levi wants to do

Levi, your AI teammate · nineloops support

What gets parked for a person, what the queued request holds, who is allowed to decide it, and what happens next.

Ask first does not mean Levi acts and then tells you. It means the action does not happen. Levi writes down exactly what it proposed, puts it in a queue, and says so instead of claiming it is done.

What gets parked

What a queued request holds

The request carries the exact request Levi made, stored as it was proposed: the recipient, the subject, the body, the amounts, the fields. Approving it replays that stored request and nothing else, so the model never gets a second chance to reinterpret what you agreed to. You can read the whole thing before you decide.

Approving or rejecting

  1. Open Settings, then Levi approvals.
  2. Read the request. Each one shows who asked, which capability it uses, why it stopped, exactly what would run, and when it expires.
  3. Add a note if the decision needs explaining, then choose Approve and run, or Reject.

Approving runs the action there and then, under the permissions of whoever approved it, and the result is written to the activity log with the request attached. Rejecting ends it: Levi does not run it and cannot raise the same one again on its own.

Who may decide

Requests expire

A request nobody answers expires after seven days and can no longer be run. That is deliberate: an approval screen left open for a fortnight should not still be able to send an email that was written for a different week.

A request can only be run once. If two people approve the same one at the same moment, one of them runs it and the other is told it has already been decided, so an invoice or an email cannot go out twice.
