What Brain can do in your workspace

The real surface: what Brain reads, what it writes, what it sends, what it builds, and what it can undo.

Brain is the AI teammate built into nineloops. It is not a separate product with its own copy of your data. It works on the same records the apps work on, using your own sign-in, so anything it does is something you could have done by hand.

Read and understand

Search every app at once, for when you know the name but not which module it lives in.
Look at a module properly before answering: its real tables, how many records they hold, and what the columns actually are.
List what has changed recently, so 'what happened this week' is answered from records rather than from memory.
Read a table directly, still inside your own permissions.

Analyse and forecast

Brain projects cash in and out from the finance ledger rather than estimating it, and Foresight models a decision before you take it. Figures on a Briefing or a Foresight card carry the records they were computed from, and you can open them.

Write and change records

Create a record in any app you can already write to, from a deal to an expense to a task.
Update fields on records that already exist.
Write a document and save it into Docs.
Create an on brand design in Studio and save it to the gallery, where you can open and edit it.

Reach people

Email a client from your own connected mailbox, so the reply comes back to you rather than to a robot address.
Email the whole team or a named group, with member addresses resolved from the workspace rather than invented.
Message a teammate in chat, as you.
Reply in a WhatsApp conversation, and prepare a WhatsApp campaign against a real audience.

Money

Brain can raise a real invoice with line items, totals, tax and a generated invoice number. It is created as a draft on purpose, because an issued invoice is frozen by the finance integrity rules, and then sent to the client from your mailbox once you have checked it.

Automations

Describe a rule in words and Brain writes a working automation: when this happens, check that, then do these things. It uses only the triggers, conditions and actions the automation engine really supports, and it creates the automation switched off unless you clearly asked for it live.

Build what is missing

Ask for something your workspace does not have, for example a tab in HR for external contractors, and Brain can build it with the fields you asked for. See building new tabs with Brain for how that works and who may do it.

Undo its own work

Brain keeps a list of what it has actually done, and can put things back. Ask it what it changed, or read the whole log in Settings, then Brain activity.

Brain has no wider account than you. If it says it cannot see something, that is your permissions or a module that has not been set up, rather than the AI being coy. Your Brain conversations are private to you, and the app checks Brain's own claims, so it cannot tell you it sent a message or created a document unless it really did.
