Your profile and which alerts reach you

Your account · nineloops support

Set your name, photo and time zone, and tune desktop, email and in-app notifications.

Your profile

Settings, then Profile, holds your name, photo, job title, department, time zone and bio. Time zone is worth setting properly, because due dates, calendar views and scheduled sends all read from it.

Notifications

Settings, then Notifications, controls what reaches you and how. You can separate desktop alerts from in-app ones, set quiet hours so nothing pings you outside working time, and choose which events are worth a notification at all.

If you run the desktop app and the web app at the same time, you get one alert rather than two. The app works out which window should notify you so the same mention does not arrive twice.

Appearance

Settings, then Appearance, switches between light, dark and matching your system, and adjusts interface density and size. It is per person, not per workspace, so your choice does not change anyone else's view.
