Where your data lives and how workspaces are kept apart
Data and security · nineloops support
Managed Postgres with row level security, private file storage, regular backups, and who can reach what.
Your data lives in a managed Postgres database with private file storage, run on trusted cloud infrastructure. Every record belongs to a workspace.
One workspace cannot read another
Row level security in the database makes sure one workspace can never read or change another workspace's rows. The rule runs on the server for every read and every write, so it holds no matter how the data is reached. The powerful service key that could bypass it never ships inside the app you run, and stays in our secure backend functions.
Backups and encryption
- The database is backed up on a regular schedule and files sit in durable storage.
- Secrets you keep in the Docs vault are encrypted on your own device before they are stored.
- Connected account tokens are encrypted at rest.
Who owns it
You own your data. We hold it to run the service for you, not to sell it or mine it.
If you need detail on data location or backup arrangements for a security review, raise a ticket and ask. We answer security questionnaires directly.
