Bring your existing data across
Getting started · nineloops support
Import records from CSV, upload your documents, and get help with a larger migration.
Most teams arrive with data in a spreadsheet or another tool. You do not have to start empty.
Import records from a CSV file
Where a module supports it, CRM most fully, you can import records from a CSV and map each column to a field. CRM imports and exports both ways, so you can round-trip a list, clean it in a spreadsheet and bring it back.
- Export what you have from your current tool as a CSV file.
- Open the module you are importing into and choose the import option in its toolbar.
- Map each CSV column onto a field. Create custom fields first if you have columns that do not exist yet.
- Import, then spot-check a handful of records before you bring the rest of the team in.
Import duplicates happen. CRM has duplicate detection and a record merge that keeps the activity, relationships and audit history, so a merge does not lose the trail.
Bring your documents
Upload existing files straight into Docs. They keep their folder structure, and once they are in Docs they inherit the same permissions, retention rules and search as anything written natively.
Larger migrations
For a full switch from another suite, raise a ticket before you start. nineloops is in private early access, which means you get the team that builds it rather than a queue, and we will help plan the move so nothing is lost on the way across.
